Giving Thanks to God this Holiday
As we enter into the Holiday season, let’s take time to reflect on the good things in our lives and the opportunity we have to shine the light of Jesus to the world around us.
Jesus was speaking with His disciples to prepare them for coming hardship, and He said this (33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NKJV) There was great hardship and loss but God provided for them and, from that, comes the foundation of what we call Thanksgiving. Give thanks to God for all that He has done and be of good cheer. Happy Thanksgiving.
